5 Ways To Better Manage Your Time

In today's society, it seems like there is so much to do and everyone is trying to juggle life, family, school, work, friends, and try to find time to do the things they enjoy doing. In order to get the most out of life you have to be able to master or better manage your time. In this short article I am going to share 5 Ways to better mange your time without sacrificing family and your personal life.

1. Create a To Do List. Make a list of all the things that need to be done, such as appointments and goals and prioritize. This is one of the core basics of time management. This is part of planning your day, it is also a great idea to make your to do list the night before, so you can actually get up and start your day on Purpose and also allow time to get things done, and the things that may have to wait until the next day, put them at the bottom of the list so that you focus on the things that MUST get done first so that you can better manage your time

2. Get Focused.
Time management is basically about being focused. The Pareto Principle also known as the '80:20 Rule' states that 80% of efforts that are not time managed or unfocused generates only 20% of the desired output. However, 80% of the desired output can be generated using only 20% of a well time managed effort. Although the ratio '80:20' is only arbitrary, it is used to put emphasis on how much is lost or how much can be gained with time management. By being able to focus on your priorities, you will be more productive, less stressed, and gain a greater sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
3. Don't Procrastinate. The things that need to be done your list, you should do them immediately, don't procrastinate or even get in a state of perfection, the quicker you get things done you can move on to the next things and get things accomplished and make progress.

4. Learn to Say No. You have to learn to say no even if this is to family and friends, in today's society we have been conditioned to put others before we even put our own needs, especially women, they will put their needs on the back burner and over extend themselves in effort to help others. You have to learn to say NO tactfully.

5. Delegate. You have to learn to delegate, this will help you with your personal and professional life. In order to be effective you have to efficient and if you are a business owner this is a principle you have to master in order to effectively lead and focus on income generating activities.

I have shared 5 ways to better manage your time. They are simple and tips you can immediately apply to your life and business so that you can accomplish your goals and be able to enjoy your life.
